UPWARDS 2025 Summer Camp hosted by Virginia Tech
Students from Hiroshima University, Kyushu University, Nagoya University, Tohoku University, Institute of Science Tyoko joined in the 2025 Upwards Summer Camp hosted by Virginia Tech. Students participated in many technical sessions for integrated circuits hosted in the Blacksburg campus of VA, Institute of Advanced Computing in Alexandria, VA of Virginia Tech as well as Micron in Manassas, VA.
The 2025 UPWARDS Summer Camp is featured in the Virginia Tech's news, Science and engineering take center stage at UPWARDS Summer Camp in the D.C. area, highlighting the various educational activies in the National Capital Region of Virginia Tech.

Students from Japan, student volunteers and faculty from Virginia Tech gathered at the Institute for Advanced Computing of Virginia Tech, located in Alexandria, VA.

Dr. Jeff Walling from Virginia Tech teaches the Electronic Design Automation(EDA) software for CMOS circuit design in the Blacksburg main campus of Virginia Tech.

Students visited the Micron's fab located at Manassas, VA. They gained more knowledge on Micron's facilities around the globe, instructors from Micron demonstrated the advanced autonomous system for the chip manufacturing process.

Prof. Kirk Cameron gave a speech on the closing ceremony for UPWARDS 2025 summer camp. Overseas students, volunteers and faculty members shared there experience during the week, with delicious food and enjoyed the night.
